Taurus G2C pistol has a slightly rounded rear slide which enables what
I call a snag-free profile which provides withdrawing it easily, not
snagging on clothing, holsters, etc.. This compact 9mm holds 12 rounds
plus 1 in the chamber and has an adjustable rear sight, weighs only 22
ounces, empty. The gun that was used to kill Trayvon Martin had a
barrel length of only 3.1" and this Taurus has barrel of 3.2", just a
bit longer so is enough to do the job. The full house 9 MM Luger
cartridge is a real power house, much more powerful than a .380 ACP.
With a 'second
strike' capability and no malfunctions in the shooting
test this gun
appears to be very reliable and at the right affordable price.
There is a rebate listed at Bud's
Gun Shop reportedly making this a
$210.95 gun after rebate, but this may be for a limited time, so get in
on the
bargain now. Is your life worth a couple hundred bucks?!
This may be one of the best budget guns available and may go up in
price.
There are lots of crazy homicidal people out there who would think
nothing of carving and ripping you apart like the guys who stabbed and
shredded Kitty
Genovese, Molly
Tibbets and Brianna
Kupfer.
You need something to at least level the playing field and defend
yourself with. You don't have to have a .45 ... the 9mm Luger
cartridge is a real stopper and, typically, is lighter and holds more
bullets and has less recoil than a .45. The great Bill
Wilson of Wilson Combat said he could build a more reliable
9mm 1911 than a .45 1911.
