If
I told you there was one dog attack on a person in the U.S. this year
it would be too many, especially if it was a fatal dog attack, but,
there have been literally dozens of fatal dog attacks in the past year
of 2020, far too many. This is supposed to be a civilized society
but the public has to contend with these ongoing fatal dog attacks that
seemingly appear out of nowhere at times and cost human lives.
I had written elsewhere on this site of dog attacks that I had
personally experienced and other dog attacks and how to protect and
defend against vicious dogs, but I had not seen the page at Wikipedia
which lists fatal dog attacks in 2020 and through the years. By
fatal, it means the dog(s) literally attacked and killed a
person. There are far more fatal dog attacks happening lately
than even I realized, so it is necessary to make a big deal out of it
and put this page up.

If you are looking
for a harmless way to repel bad dogs you might try an airsoft
pistol that shoots 6mm plastic or rubber balls.
If you opt for a cheaper model of airsoft
gun it might be a spring powered pistol which has a magazine to feed
the plastic BBs which you would have to cock a spring a short stroke to
power it. This would propel a plastic or rubber pellet at up to
about 300 feet per second, a pretty snappy velocity which would
discourage a growling dog if hit in the nose. It would not kill
the animal and would probably do less damage than a BB. At
most it might sting the animal and discourage it. Pit bulls,
however, might be harder to discourage as they seem to go into a
complete rage at times and kill people.
Just an average attacking mutt, for example, may respond to getting hit
by an airsoft pellet by retreating. If the dog ignores a shot or
two from the airsoft gun and is determined to attack it might be
necessary to use a TRASH
PICK, club, knife, or real firearm to stop the attacking
animal. This spring powered gun would not be sufficient to stop a
pack of attacking dogs. You'd have to have some kind of rapid
fire capability for a number of dogs attacking. See my article on
the TRASH
PICK.
The Herstal FNS-9 comes in a protective blister pack with 50 starter
BBs and instructions sealed between the cardboard covers. It
boasts 300 feet per second velocity. It's nice that the 6mm BB is
larger than the .177 caliber standard BB to deliver a noticeable
thump. You hear a positive click when the magazine is inserted.
Even though you must cock it between each shot the short stroke cocks
very fast for repeat shots which the magazine loads automatically for
you, so just cock and shoot, cock and shoot again, 12 times. You
don't have to hand load each BB, just pour into slot in magazine and
close the port, then shake to the side with the spring depressed and
let the spring up and it's loaded in the spring magazine ready to fire.
This is a realistic replica of the famous FNS-9 so you might not want
to remove that orange safety piece on the muzzle which shows it is not
a real firearm or it could be mistaken for a real gun.
Good sights, the tri-dot white sights, has a thumb powered safety,
beaded dots all around grip for sure grip, very light at .7 pound and
very attractive. You always consider how heavy or light a pistol
is for carrying in jacket, etc.. Has large beavertail for maximum
control.
The plastic in the gun does not appear to be cheap and no fakey white
markings came with my gun which was made in The Philippines. The
price on my gun has gone up in the last few days from $14.99 to $17.99,
so I expect the demand for this nice pistol will cause the price to
increase even more in the future. You can opt for a silver
colored slide, etc. for a buck or so more.
POWER
Even with these light pellets it will penetrate one side of a large
yogurt container so with heavier pellets I expect it will go through a
pop can. With these light starter pellets it severely dents the
can and almost goes through.
All in all a little bit of protection to startle vicious dogs for less
than twenty bucks. Not bad. If the dogs keep attacking I
guess you'd better JUST SHOOT THE BASTARDS WITH A REAL GUN!

A mother and her boy were
reportedly in a fenced area of a backyard but the two pit bulls that attacked them somehow got into the
yard anyway and one boy is now reported dead with mother injured.
These ongoing attacks seem to happen out of nowhere, over and over and
again. Every so often you hear or read of pit bull dogs attacking
people and injuring and sometimes killing people. The dogs in
this case were reportedly unregistered. I have stated on this
website that pit bull dogs should not be allowed in any
municipality. If owners of pit bulls want to keep them they
should be required to do so outside of any city limits. There are
too many potential target victims in a city or municipality for pit
bulls to exist there.
This brings up the subject of
installing fences.
It becomes clear that
these pit bull attacks will happen every so often so rather than ask
why I think it is a good idea for people to install sound, tall fences
at least six feet high around their yards to prevent such
attacks. The fences should be constructed so the gates cannot be
opened by passersby from outside the fence, and, this measure should
add a bit more privacy to the home.

The dogs in this incident apparently dug under a fence to access
the victims in this case. Remember the article I posted about
constructing dog-proof
fences.
I might add - this can happen most any time where pit bulls can get
loose. They can burrow under fences, chain link fences, even
wooden fences so my recommendation is to dog-proof your
fence.
If a hospital that can treat
you for dog bite(s) requires you to take a coronavirus vaccination you
need to be careful to avoid dog bites. If a dog or other animal
has torn you up and you are bleeding profusely like the man in
Michigan, CraigSytsma,
who died you may have to accept whatever requirements the hospital
requires to avoid bleeding to death like the man in Michigan who was
attacked by 2 large cane corso dogs while jogging.
So it stands to reason to
avoid dog attacks and dog bites. If dogs approach you, you will
have to quickly estimate the situation and determine whether the dogs
intend to bite you. It might be better to shoot aggressive dogs
or other animals like coyotes and ask questions later. Whose
animal is this and where did it come from? Why did it growl and
lunge at me and try to bite me, etc.?
The same applies to driving.
Be very careful to avoid traffic accidents, collisions because it could
send you to a hospital.
When a pit
bull dog charged him this guy did not wait to get bitten
but shot the animal a number of times. Warning - graphic video. If
shooting a dog makes you ill do not watch the video. This looks
like a clear case of self-defense.
Why are dog owners letting their animals roam neighborhoods in the city
where it is not a rural area? Very rude!
I
do not recommend shooting a dog with a BB gun or CO2 pistol if you
can get to a real firearm when attacked. The CO2 guns are only if you
have nothing else. If an animal charges you it may likely bite
and/or
kill you so I recommend shooting such an animal with a firearm like the
Ruger LCP. There is
less chance of only wounding the animal this way. THE

Florida mail carrier whose truck broke down was found on the ground
recently after being attacked by five dogs. She was hospitalized but,
sadly she died. It's a shame they can't even deliver the mail
without being attacked by dogs. This dog-attack stuff has really
gotten ridiculous.
Dogs, especially
more than one dog can be very dangerous and can bite and tear large
chunks of flesh away causing massive hemorrhaging.
She needed just

store, a 71 year old man was mauled to death by 7 pit bulls recently in
Texas. I mean just one dog can kill you or give you a whole lot
of trouble, but when you try to cover your vital areas multiple dogs
can target various other parts of your body. When this multiple
dog attack happens it requires a firearm to stop the attack, so seven
dogs on one guy is really horrible. He must have suffered an

Rockport is a little
coastal town on the Gulf of Mexico near Corpus Christi, Texas which we
used to go through to visit my aunt and uncle. A man was
reportedly mauled to death by a pack of dogs today, June 22, 2023 and
according to reports the dogs really made a rag
doll of the
victim. By shooting the dogs even with a Co2 pistol in
their
noses the victim could probably have survived. Dog maulings and
killings are happening all over America. The dogs suddenly appear
out of nowhere, don't they?
This is why I
advocate for walkers, joggers and travelers to carry at least one
firearm. Even the little 22
Long Rifle "MAGIC WAND" illustrated here or a fist
pistol, palm pistol would have helped the victim.
A knife would also aid the victim in a desperate situation like
this. There is no time to call 911 when you are being
attacked. A man apparently called 911 for help and the dogs
mauled the victim as deputies arrived. The
dogs must have worked the victim over the entire time the deputies were
enroute! Instead of having something to defend himself
with the victim of this attack is reportedly dead. According to the

2 dogs apparently killed a man who was simply walking down a road,
Avenue J in Snyder, Texas. Police and EMS reportedly found a
deceased man lying in the road. Autopsy results reportedly confirmed
the dog attack.
It is so unnecessary for people to be killed by dogs that I would
suggest not to go anywhere if you cannot legally carry a firearm.
Laws should be passed that if you don't qualify to carry a firearm like
a 9mm or 40 S&W or 45 Auto that you should be allowed to carry
minor calibers like 380 ACP or 32 ACP or 25 ACP or 22 Long Rifle to at
least have some form of defence. Apparently this incident
involved two dogs but if you had 3-6 dogs or more attacking you it
would probably require a firearm to keep from getting eaten up!
One woman stepped out into her driveway, maybe to go check the mail or
take out the garbage and was attacked and killed by dogs, so you need a
fence around your property which some folks may not be able to afford.
A Georgia woman was
mauled to death on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at a bus stop near a middle
school after the kids reportedly got off the bus at the school bus
stop. Maybe some powerful mace or CO2 pistol or a small firearm
would have saved this mom's life. Always be armed and prepared

Today while
piddling around in my yard just outside my fence I was attacked by 5 or
6
dogs. Fortunately when they barked I jumped up and went inside my
fence before they could bite me but they continued barking and growling
as I sprayed them with dog pepper spray and broke off their
attack. I say 5 or 6 because I didn't have time to stop and count
them as I was just a hair from getting bitten. I had placed my
dog spray from my shirt pocket to my tool pocket in my pants and
fumbled around first reaching for the defensive spray in my shirt,
realizing I had moved it and finally got a hold of it. This is
bad! Always have the spray either in hand or where you can grab
it quickly. Getting inside the fence may be what saved me from
dog bites. I had left the gate open while I was piddling around
so they would have had to spend time running around it to get to me and
make contact.
There was no
apparent reason for the attack as I live here and must have been known
to the dogs who live across and down the street. They simply
decided they didn't approve of me working around my yard and out of the
clear blue they went for me. This area has had a share of
dangerous mutts from time to time but I had not thought that any of the
neighborhood dogs were dangerous so I was taken unawares. These
dogs clearly were angry and really let me know it as if something here
made them angry.
I sprayed the
smaller lead brown tan dog and that stopped the attack
completely. The leader
shook his head and left following the others, the black lab looking dogs who also left.
Strange, weird. As I said, "THEY SUDDENLY APPEAR
OUT OF NOWHERE".
I don't like to
destroy animals but if any number of them had tried to bite me I would
have had to kill them. You cannot go easy on attacking dogs
because they can all gang you and possibly kill you. With numbers
of dogs you may try to guard a body area while the others go for a
vital area or drag you to the ground and go for your throat.

A 5-year-old girl was
killed by her family’s dogs in Covina on Sunday. Apparently 2
Rottweiler dogs killed her in the back yard while she was with her
father but he couldn't control the dogs quickly enough to prevent
injuries to the girl. These attacks can happen in the blink of an
eye without warning, and, large vicious dogs can suddenly appear out
of
nowhere and attack you.
I have stated
repeatedly here on this site that LARGE
DOGS CAN KILL YOU QUICKLY
and
DOGS CAN BITE HUGE CHUNKS OF YOUR FLESH AWAY QUICKLY! I don't
know what sets these dogs off nowadays to attack and kill people, but
infants, toddlers, and small children should have constant monitoring
and not be in the vicinity of powerful dogs. As I stated on a
conspiracy website years ago, never leave infants, toddlers or small
children alone outside of a house for an instant. Unfortunately,
my predictions come true for some folks. This precious little 5
year old angel has departed and won't suffer any more dogbites.

It's happened again! Dogs have reportedly claimed the life of a
Houston-Katy, Texas area man. Why should dogs be able to kill
people? 2 Pit Bull mixes and a Cane Corso killed a 62 year old
man, Chai Liang, in Katy Park, West Harris County, and then attacked
and bit a woman with a small child.
This senseless violence of dogs against humans has just got to
stop. If owners cannot control them people need to start shooting
these violent aggressive animals with effective pistols like about 9mm
Luger caliber. When it comes to their lives or your life I think
you would be justified to shoot them. Where it is legal you
could at least carry a CO2 pistol to discourage the really vicious
aggressive dogs.
You can tell these Gainsville, Tx. neighborhoods are not even safe to
walk in let along ride a bicycle in. This cyclist suffered so
many dog attacks I lost count of them! Even one dog attack could
prove fatal, so pepper spray is a good non-lethal idea. This guy
in the video is an amputee with one good leg and managed to fend off
the attacks with pepper spray, so it would be a good, wise idea to get
several good pepper spray devices, especially if you go for walks or
rides. There were four or five dogs which actually came up to my
property barking, growling, and lunging at me and I sprayed just a
little spray at them and they retreated.
Remember
CO2 guns are not toys and
can cause injury or death if
mishandled. Always wear shooting glasses or some kind of safety
glasses when shooting any gun.
